This will be very brief today – because life gets busy at the end of summer. I’m not sure why, but as summer ends, I find there are many many things I planned to do, didn’t do, but must be done. I kinda hope you feel the same… Otherwise I really am alone out there. But as the kids are going back to school, I’m pulling my act together…
So I’ll be brief: There’s a great sale going on right now for Dear Mr. Knightley, Lizzy & Jane, and The Bronte Plot. Here’s a brief summary of each book:
Dear Mr. Knightley
After years of hiding behind the voices and stories of her favorite literary characters, twenty-three year old Samantha Moore finds her own voice, her own story and true love by sharing it, through letters, with another.
Lizzy and Jane
Through their shared memories of food, literature, loves from the past, two sisters find the courage to face the challenges of the present.
The Bronte Plot
Unlikely cohorts and unlikelier friends, Lucy and Helen travel from Chicago to England intending to shop for antiques. Instead they lay down secrets, forge new paths and find their way back home.
They are bundled digitally for $3.99 right now! Here’s the link to my website’s landing page with all ebook channels. The Katherine Reay Collection

Here’s a little about Mary and Isabel’s story as well:
Mary Davies finds safety in her ordered and productive life. Working as an engineer, she genuinely enjoys her job and her colleagues – particularly a certain adorable and intelligent consultant. But something is missing. When Mary’s estranged childhood friend, Isabel Dwyer offers her a two-week stay in a gorgeous manor house in England, she reluctantly agrees in hopes that the holiday will shake up her quiet life in just the right ways.
But Mary gets more than she bargained for when Isabel loses her memory and fully believes she lives in Jane Austen’s Bath. While Isabel rests and delights in the leisure of a Regency lady, attended by other costume-clad guests, Mary uncovers startling truths about their shared past, who Isabel was, who she seems to be, and the man who now stands between them.
Outings are undertaken, misunderstandings play out, and dancing ensues as this company of clever, well-informed people, who have a great deal of conversation, work out their lives and hearts.
Enjoy these last lovely days! And I’ll let you know all The Austen Escape fun in the coming weeks.
Thank you! Talk again soon… Katherine
