Descriptive and insightful and with an excellent command of English, the author fine-tunes and brings to life the protagonists’ pains, their motives….Before you realise it, heart and mind are drawn into Lucy’s life – you just can’t put the book down!
Also, I have never come across a more loving and alive presentation of Old England’s writers – you almost expect them to sip their tea at that corner table over there…..
